The Persian Viper is a chilling novel that transports you into the desperate action of an American team that is attempting to stop terrorist contamination of US water supply systems.

 

The lives of men and women from divergent cultures intersect in a chilling conspiracy. The victor will determine if millions of Americans live or die.

 

An Iraqi microbiologist is devastated by events in Baghdad during the Persian Gulf War. Driven from his Muslim faith, he embarks on a demonic mission of revenge. He obtains employment in the US Center For Disease Control, growing deadly viruses. His Iraqi team assembles a lab in the US to grow a small amount of deadly virus into enough to contaminate the water supply system of major US cites.

 

The Iraqi plot is discovered. An American team is quickly organized and frantically attempts to derail the fast moving terrorist plot. The population of eight major cities is in jeopardy. Can the Americans make the correct decisions, contain the Iraqis and seize the deadly virus before it is deployed?

The plot of this novel is so topical that it is frightening. I know it was written before 9/11, that makes it even more interesting. Kept me up all night reading!
